In the recently published book "Quality as a Success Factor - Applications and Advantages of the EFQM Excellence Model" (German original title: "Erfolgsfaktor Qualität - Einsatz und Nutzen des EFQM-Excellence-Modells") by the publishing house Symposion, MEN describes why we have opted for a business excellence model, although the standard EN ISO 9001, the sector-specific standards EN 9100 (aerospace) and IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) have already been implemented successfully.
