Strong Performance on cPCI PlusIO with 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7
Based on the latest Intel® Core™ i7 platform, the F22P offers a strongly improved graphics performance and higher computing performance while having a similarly low power consumption. Being another member of the scalable CompactPCI® and CompactPCI® PlusIO family, the SBC sports the same robustness and flexibility as its predecessors. For enhancing performance, the F22P can easily be integrated into existing systems.

Long Strides Toward Excellent Quality Management
On its way to comprehensive quality management based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) Business Excellence Model, MEN Mikro Elektronik is able to report a first partial success. The company achieved a result of 535 points in a moderated EFQM evaluation which already puts MEN ahead of the majority of other companies certified according to ISO 9001 after the short time since the introduction.

Equita Holding Secures Independence for MEN Mikro Elektronik
In the framework of a succession plan Equita Holding KGaA signed a purchase agreement on the acquisition of the majority of shares in MEN Mikro Elektronik GmbH on March 26, 2013. Manfred Schmitz - in his capacity as CEO and co-founder of the company - will reinvest major portions of his shares - under participation of further members of the management team. The transaction is scheduled for the end of April. In the framework of the transaction Udo Fuchs and Werner Witt, the two other founding members, will withdraw from operational business.

Certification Package for SIL 4 Certified 6U VMEbus or CompactPCI® SBCs

CompactPCI® Serial USB 3.0 Interface Card for Data-Intensive Applications
Thanks to the G201, the new USB 3.0 interface card, MEN's portfolio of CompactPCI® Serial boards has again gained more flexibility. The four USB 3.0 ports at the front panel can either be used to connect fast USB 3.0 devices or to extend the USB interfaces with 2.0 functionality of the CPU board.
