About MIPIOS®

A family of extremely rugged products

The MIPIOS® family of products is based on a particularly robust aluminum enclosure (220 mm wide, 130 mm high and 70 mm deep) prepared for wall or DIN-rail mounting. Dust- and waterproofness according to IP67 is achieved through the use of rugged M12 connectors. The units are designed for extreme operating temperatures (-40 to +70°C with +85°C for up to 10 minutes according to EN50155 class Tx) and their internal electronics are prepared for conformal coating.

All MIPIOS® products are designed for Ethernet connectivity and feature wide-range PSUs (according to EN 50155) that also meet the requirements for voltage interruption class S2, i.e., they remain functional despite power interruptions for up to 10 ms. In many cases, two power inputs enable the use of an external battery or other power source.

The product family includes the Rugged Box Computer RC1, the managed Ethernet switches RS1 and RS3 and their unmanaged counterparts RS2 and RS4.
