Mission-Critical Apps

As an expert in electronics for safety-critical (mission-critical) applications, we design electronic systems for use in medical equipment, airplanes, trains, or in nuclear power stations.

Rugged Electronics

Measures to be taken and standards to be applied in design and production to make products work reliably also in hot or cold, dusty or humid, shaking and vibrating environments.

Thermal Management

Our solutions for thermal management of electronics in harsh environments include forced air cooling with tailored heat sinks up to conduction cooled systems for operating temperatures of up to -40 to +85°C.

Intel® Processors

Most of our standard SBCs and COMs are based on Intel® architecture with low-power single- and multi-core processors. Designs are optimized for harsh environments and 7 years minimum availability.

PowerPC® Processors

Many of our custom and some of our standard SBCs and COMs are based on PowerPC® architecture, featuring a large variety of processors from the PowerQUICC™ families. Designs are optimized for harsh environments and 10 years minimum availability.

System Design

Specialized in complex system design, we offer rugged stand-alone, wall-mount and DIN-rail box and display computers, Ethernet switches, individually configured 19-inch racks (CompactPCI® (Serial) and VMEbus) and entire custom developments.

Ethernet & Fieldbuses

Industrial communication networks based on fieldbus structures or point-to-point connections are increasingly found not only in industrial control but also in safety-critical environments such as transportation or avionics.

User I/O in FPGA

Increased I/O flexibility for standard and custom computer boards, long-term availability and qualification for extended operation temperature make FPGAs a key technology for time- and cost-critical embedded applications.

Analog & Binary I/O

Learn more about the real-world I/O requirements on the analog and digital side in industrial control and instrumentation. A wide range of mezzanine cards and FPGA IP cores cover the different functionalities.
